Let's first talk about why I stopped loss and exited hype. Since last week, hype has detached from BTC and ETH, showing an independent trend, which goes against the overall downward trend of crypto. This inevitably raises suspicion of manipulation by some mysterious forces behind the scenes. It's very likely that hype won't hold on to turn profitable in the short term like doge did. Therefore, given the significant profits from ETH, hedging against hype's losses is appropriate.
The current market is very fragmented. On one hand, expectations are very positive (big tech IPOs, easing geopolitical tensions); on the other hand, the reality is quite bad (high US debt, high inflation). The bullish and bearish outlooks are unclear. In this situation, betting on either a rise or a fall is justifiable, but the operational risk is very high. Even ultra-short-term trades may not yield good results. At this indecisive stage, I definitely choose to watch more and trade less. Everyone must understand this approach.
The market is still in a state of fear, which is typical of a bear market. Whether you go long or short, you end up losing money, ultimately handing over low-priced chips obediently to the market makers.
I hope everyone stays steady and doesn't act recklessly. Good luck.
The intense geopolitical competition and the high uncertainty of macro policies have created bizarre trends in the crypto market. The current market is simply not something a normal person would engage in; this week's roller coaster ride has been too thrilling. Can you handle it?
Positions may be closed for profit-taking at any time before the holiday, so take a good rest during the break. Wishing everyone a happy May Day in advance 🎉🎊🍾
