$ZEC is liquidating late shorts. After the security vulnerability news, price dropped more than 40%. Most traders expected a move toward $100 and rushed into shorts. Since then, more than $40M in short positions have already been liquidated. Current positioning: • Shorts: $116M • Longs: $42M Positioning remains heavily one-sided. When the majority ends up on the same side of the trade, the market often becomes vulnerable to moves against the crowd. This is why I pay more attention to positioning than headlines. Bad news doesn't always mean lower prices.
