Everyone talks about AI Everyone talks about decentralization Almost nobody talks about where the compute actually comes from That's why I've been paying attention to @quipnetwork lately Most Web3 infrastructure still depends on the same centralized hardware stack we've relied on for years Quip is taking a different route Instead of leaving compute in the hands of a few providers, they're opening the network to CPUs, GPUs, and even quantum hardware contributed by the community I've been running a node recently and the latest update made a noticeable difference, especially on Mac Setup feels smoother Performance feels cleaner Less troubleshooting, more actual participation What interests me most isn't the quantum narrative itself It's the idea of combining classical and quantum resources into a single network designed to solve real-world optimization challenges We're still early, but it feels like one of the few projects trying to bridge today's computing reality with tomorrow's possibilities Curious what others think: Will hybrid quantum-classical networks become a meaningful part of Web3 infrastructure, or is the industry still years away from that future? push by @sleepagotchi @usetria and @wallchain
